Grant of up to €36,000 for new businesses set up by university graduates

On 30/04/2026 the ESPA programme “Xekino Epicheirimatika” (Starting a Business) was published — one of the most significant grant schemes for new entrepreneurs in recent years. It is open exclusively to graduates of higher education and funds the start-up or operation of a new business with no obligation to submit invoices.

The programme provides 100% funding — with no own contribution — for running a new business for 12 or 18 months, using lump-sum amounts and a simplified procedure.
