unemployed people aged 18 to 29 to set up their own business with a grant of up to \u20ac17,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u20ac17,500 grant is significant support for starting a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme aims to promote self-employment and strengthen business activity, with particular emphasis on women&#8217;s entrepreneurship and on activities related to the digital and green economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Joint Ministerial Decision (Gazette B\u2019 729\/12-02-2026), the action covers a total of 2,114 new beneficiaries across Greece and is a significant opportunity for anyone who wants to start their own business with financial support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcca How much is the grant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The grant amounts to \u20ac17,500 and is paid in three instalments during the first 12 months of operation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u20ac4,700 after the business starts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20ac6,400 after the first six months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20ac6,400 after the second six months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The grant period is 12 months from the business start date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc64 Who the programme is for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is for unemployed people aged 18\u201329 who are not in employment, education or training and want to set up a new small or medium-sized business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Particular emphasis is given to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>women&#8217;s entrepreneurship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>digital economy activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>green economy activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The action is implemented in all Regions of Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2705 Key eligibility conditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To join the programme you need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration in DYPA&#8217;s register of unemployed persons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No employment and no participation in education or training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The business must start after approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The business must operate for at least 12 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udeab Which activities are not eligible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Among others, the following are excluded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>franchise activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>short-term rental businesses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>delivery only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>seasonal businesses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>restarting the same activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>businesses that took part in previous new-entrepreneur (NEE) programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Choosing the right activity code (KAD) is a key factor for successful approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
