Law 5222\/2025, Article 210<\/p>\n\n<p>Payments will be made exclusively via bank transfer, eliminating the option of cash or other payment methods.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Rules:<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mandatory Electronic Payment:<\/strong> Effective January 1, 2026, all rents must be paid <strong>only via bank transfer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Elimination of Cash Payments:<\/strong> Cash payments or other payment methods will not be accepted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Declared Account:<\/strong> The account used for payment must be in the lessor&#8217;s name and must have been <strong>declared to the AADE<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment Deadline:<\/strong> Payments must be made <strong>within the first five days of each month<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AADE Monitoring:<\/strong> The AADE will monitor payments to ensure that rents are paid via bank transfer throughout the year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consequences for Owners:<\/h4>\n\n<p>Owners who do not accept rent payments via bank transfer <strong>lose the 5% discount<\/strong> currently applicable as a deemed depreciation expense.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consequences for Tenants:<\/h4>\n\n<p>Tenants who do not pay their rents via bank transfer <strong>will not be entitled to subsidies<\/strong> or other aid dependent on payment certification.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Provisions for Businesses:<\/h4>\n\n<p>Businesses paying rent for business premises are obliged to pay it via bank transfer.
